A tall, slender woman, Nelle Doeriven has the coloring of a Cairhienin, if not the stature. Long, silky black hair frames a face lovely enough to make a man stare, with smoldering black eyes and soft pink lips. Nelle's hair is worn loose and flowing, and she is attired in a finely tailored riding dress of forest green satin, embroidering heavily on the upper bodice in white and crimson silken thread, in a dainty pattern evoking leaves and buds. Nelle's naturally pale Cairhienin complexion has been browned by the sun in her extensive travels, and in truth, she looks fresh from the road, with a dark gray woolen cloak, and riding gloves tucked behind her belt.
